The Bisbee Vine at St. Patrick Church

Into the Future . . .

Many lessons were learned over the past 10 years...mostly reliance on a higher power. Yet, being compelled to commit the 10-year journey to paper “cemented” the reality that I was not in control. More than once during the process I was overwhelmed. Roxan moved to Phoenix… no more helper.…difficulties finding an engraver, chipping paint, yet He was always present guiding me forward. Even when the path took an unexpected and abrupt turn.

Today, I give thanks to God and His Son for inspiration. Inspiration given Deacon Tony for putting so much emphasis in his Lenten homily, suggesting parishioners also give their talents with the church, thus inspiring me to share my talents. Thank you, Deacon Tony!  Praise to God for keeping me in good health and giving me the strength and vision to complete this mission. While working on the wall it was and remains my fervent prayer that those who enjoy the art and/or read the words of Christ, find a passage that brings them closer to God!

In a spirit of humility I leave this wall to you, parishioners and visitors alike, for safe keeping. As with all Gods’ blessings  …  health, children, family, the great outdoors, material abundance ... all must be maintained.  This is also true of the concrete vineyard.  You are invited to donate to The Bisbee Vine Maintenance Fund at St. Patrick Church,  P O Box 164, Bisbee AZ 85603.  You may also contribute through our online giving program, using the 'Give Now' link below.

You might also consider purchasing a memorabilia tile for yourself or as a gift.  Proceeds from the sale of the tiles helps off-set maintenance costs of The Bisbee Vine.

Tiles are hand painted by the artist that produced The Bisbee Vine. Thus the tiles are One of a Kind with no two being identical. Grapes will be shades of Merlot, plum and violet with leaf shades of hunter green, basil and clover mixed with tinges of bark and/or sienna. Red mahogany stain produces a full rich and darker background while cedar gives a golden glow and more airy tone to tile background.

Colored tiles receive a final coat of oil stain. Uncolored tiles receive a sealer coat making them ready for Color Me Love art activity.

Scripture from John 15:1-17 is per-manently mounted and sealed on the reverse of all tiles.

St. Patrick Gift Shop will soon have both colored and uncolored tiles.

Gift shop hours are
