As most would suspect, the above may be accurate and concise but grossly over simplified. Why else did it take 10 years to complete an 80’ mural? For starters I got the idea when I was 75. Everything takes a bit longer at that age. My dedicated apprentice helper Roxan and I were only 15 months into the project when my very own “Baja Bug” ran over my leg, causing a compound fracture. Needless to say, the wall project was put on hold for many months. Also Roxan, being a working gal, was only able to apprentice (mix concrete) a couple of days per month. I too had many irons in the fire.
